Television Series Review
HEROES
I know what you are thinking, a super hero show, just another kiddy series. However, after sitting through an entire season in two days, this series just blew me away. This is not your average comic book story. On the contrary, it is wonderfully handled from a real life perspective of a series of people who find out that they have these strange abilities. They handle it like real life people, as does a particular foundation that seeks them. Why does this company/agency want them? No one knows as of yet. But it has me hanging on the edge wondering.
The characters range from teen girls, young men, cops, businessmen, chinese, british, and even a particularly intimidating Haitian man. This series has no points that leave you bored. The viewer is captivated from Point A to Z
Overall Story: These people begin to realize that they have superhuman abilities, such as mind reading, invisibility, flight, the power to heal, etc. There seems to be no link between them, though some meet up in search of a reason for their mutant abilities. One in particular, however, has the ability to see into the future, and what he sees is most of them in one place and a major city destroyed.
Five stars to Heroes, undoubtedly the best movie of the year!
